Child struck in hit-and-run in Northwest DC

D.C. police are searching for a driver involved in a hit-and-run of a child in Northwest D.C. Tuesday afternoon.

The child was struck at 3rd and Peabody Streets at around 4:15 p.m.

Police say the victim is conscious and breathing.
