It's that time of the week when we say "Cheers to the weekend!" Every Friday night, a bartender or mixologist joins us on FOX 5 to mix up a signature cocktail.
This week, Chris Dipalo, a bartender at Met Bethesda, was here to make us the Ruby Ridge.
Cocktail: Ruby Ridge
Grapefruit Sugar Rim: 1 tbsp. grapefruit zest, 2 tbsp. of granulated sugar.
Mix together and put in dish.
Rub grapefruit around the rim of rocks glass, dip in sugar rim. set aside.
Ingredients for cocktail:
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz aperol
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- 1 oz of Met Martini Bar meyer lemon puree
- 1 slice of ruby red grapefruit.
Combine all above ingredients in shaker with ice, shake vigorously. Pour contents into rimmed rocks glass.
