Chase ends in NE DC after robbery at Prince George's Co. cell phone store

WASHINGTON - D.C. police are investigating after a chase that started in Prince George's County came to an end in northeast Washington on Friday afternoon.

According to a Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson, a robbery was reported at a cell phone store on Donnell Drive in Forestville, Md. at around 1:30 pm. An officer responding to the robbery spotted the suspects' vehicle, and police chased it. The chase came to an end on Benning Road NE in the District. Three male suspects were taken into custody.
