Beltway Inner loop fatal accident

A fatal accident involving three cars happened early Christmas morning on 495 South bound. Police and emergency officials responded and all lanes were closed right before Branch Ave for several hours.

A car driving in the wrong direction is the cause of the accident. One person was transported to the hospital.

Lanes have since opened.
