'Beer Pong Rapist' sentenced to 150 years in prison for sexual assaults

A Maryland man convicted of sexually assaulting five men he met at beer pong tournaments was sentenced to 150 years in prison.

Prosecutors say 40-year-old Joey Poindexter committed these five assaults over a three-year period.

Evidence of one of the incidents showed Poindexter on surveillance video leading an intoxicated victim from a bar in College Park. He took the young man home to his Gaithersburg home. During Poindexter's trial, prosecutors presented cell phone video Poindexter had recorded of himself sexually assaulting the victim.

Prosecutors also believe there may be possibly up to 25 more victims dating back nearly ten years based on computer files seized from Poindexter's home by investigators.
