BALTIMORE (AP) -- Police in Baltimore report that 10 people were shot in the city in several incidents over 24 hours.
The string of eight shootings reported in locations around the city starting Sunday night included two double shootings about a half hour apart on Monday evening. It's not clear whether any of the shootings are related.
In one case, police said a 21-year-old man was in grave condition after he was found shot in the head. Police reported that another man was in serious condition, but others did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, police reported two men were killed in separate incidents.
Violent crime has increased in Baltimore since the death of Freddie Gray sparked unrest.
