All-clear after fire alarm causes evacuation of BWI control tower
LINTHICUM, Md. - A fire alarm caused the brief evacuation of a control tower at a D.C. area airport Tuesday morning. An alarm at the Baltimore-Washington International Airport caused fire crews to evacuate the FAA control tower resulting in take-off and landing delays.
The situation was first reported around 6:45 a.m. The all-clear was given around 7 a.m.
No injuries were reported and flights are back on schedule.
