Adorable! Baby owl caught on camera practicing 'pouncing skills'

(FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - A baby screech owl that was recently caught on a game camera in Arizona is almost too cute for words.

The baby owl, which is apparently one of three on the homeowner's property, was observed practicing his pouncing skills earlier this week.

The homeowner, Alix Taylor, said the adorable moment was captured Sunday night on an old game camera that is kept on their deck rail.

Eastern Screech-Owls are active at night and are far more often heard than seen - most bird watchers know this species only from its trilling or whinnying song.
