7 injured in New Hampshire Ave. crash
CHILLUM, Md. - Four children and three adults were injured in a serious accident involving two vehicles, according to Prince George's County police.
It happened around 3 p.m. Thursday at New Hampshire Avenue and Poplar Avenue in Chillum. One of the vehicles hit a tree, authorities said.
All seven occupants were taken to the hospital, police tweeted. Four children are in critical condition, two adults are in serious condition and one adult suffered minor injuries.
Northbound New Hampshire Avenue at Poplar Avenue is closed while police investigate.
