3 stabbed by relative while in SUV
WALDORF, Md. - (AP) -- Police say a 25-year-old man stabbed three of his family members as they sat in a vehicle in Charles County.
Authorities say the unidentified suspect is facing numerous charges, including three counts of attempted murder, in connection with the Sunday night stabbings in Waldorf.
Police say a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were all stabbed and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds after they ran out of the SUV. A fifth person in the vehicle escaped without injury.
Investigators say the suspect drove into Prince George's County and called police from a convenience store where they arrested him.
Police say they don't know what prompted the attack.
