2nd man charged in 2011 slaying of Maryland woman

LA PLATA, Md. -- The Charles County Sheriff's Office says a second man has been charged in the 2011 death of a Landover woman whose remains were found months after her mother reported her missing.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Darrayl John Wilson of Nanjemoy Tuesday in the death of 29-year-old Crystal Keyona Anderson of Landover.

Wilson is charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy.

Anderson was reported missing by her mother in August 2011. Her remains were found in January 2012 in a wooded area near Purse State Park in Charles County.

In March, 22-year-old Raymond Daniel Posey III of Nanjemoy was indicted on a first-degree murder charge in Anderson's death.

Anderson was last seen alive at a party in Nanjemoy on the night of August 2, 2011. Investigators say the suspects knew Anderson and at least one of them was with her at the party the night she vanished. But they believe the motive was robbery.

Angela Anderson will be forever thankful to the Charles County sheriff's detectives who followed through after all of these years, but she still misses her daughter -- her first born -- every day.

Posey's trial begins in October and Angela Anderson plans to be there.

She is asking anyone with information about Posey, Wilson and anything about the night Crystal disappeared to contact police.

"I'm pretty sure there are people who saw the three of them together and if they have any common decency, just come forward," Angela Anderson said.
