2 charged with firing BB gun at people in northwest DC
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police say two young men have been charged with firing a BB gun at pedestrians in the Van Ness neighborhood of northwest Washington.
District of Columbia police said in a news release that the shootings occurred on Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon. In the first incident, three people, including a security guard, were hit by BB pellets. One suffered minor injuries.
The next day, another man was struck by a BB pellet and sustained minor injuries.
Police say the gun was fired from a residence on Van Ness Street, Northwest. On Wednesday, police arrested 19-year-old Hudson Taylor and 22-year-old Daniel Hernandez, both of northwest Washington.
