18-year-old Maryland man wanted for deadly shooting at Columbia Mall

HOWARD COUNTY, Md. - Authorities are searching for an 18-year-old suspect wanted in connection to a deadly shooting at Columbia Mall.
The fatal shooting happened on July 27, 2024.
The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Howard County Police Department are searching for William Marshall III aka "Junior," 18.
Marshall is wanted for first-degree murder and related charges, and a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Authorities say Marshall allegedly targeted the victim, 17-year-old Angelo Little, who was killed at the scene. Detectives believe the suspect and victim knew each other.
On Aug. 5, police released surveillance video that showed the suspect’s movements through the mall leading up to and after the shooting. Through continued investigation, detectives identified Marshall as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
The U.S. Marshals Service has elevated the fugitive investigation to major status and has added $20,000 to the $10,000 offered by Howard County Police for information that leads to Marshall’s arrest.
Marshall is described as a Black man, 5 feet 11 inches, weighing approximately 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is considered a potential threat to the public due to the nature of his alleged crime.
