17-year-old shot in DC, suspect at large
WASHINGTON, D.C. - A shooting in Southeast, D.C. left a teenage boy suffering gunshot wounds.
A 17-year-old teenager was located, conscious and breathing, suffering from a gunshot wound in Southeast, D.C.
DC Fire and EMS responded to the area of the 2600 block of Stanton Road around 2:23 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. According to police, the suspect is described as a Black male, roughly 5'2 to 5'4 in height, wearing a blue Canada Goose jacket and blue jeans.
