1 person killed in Prince George's County crash

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Prince George's County police are investigating after one man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Ritchie Road in District Heights early Sunday morning.

According to police, the driver veered into oncoming traffic between Alberta Drive and Benson Lane around 1:02 a.m.

They have not determined what led him to cross the center line.

The driver has not been identified.

The roadway was closed for several hours while police investigated.

It has since reopened.
