Death investigation in Laurel

LAUREL, Md. - Authorities say a death investigation is underway after a person was found deceased in Laurel.

The death was reported at 10 p.m. in the 12800 block of Fernwood Turn. The death was originally thought to be connected to a shooting. However, investigators have no reports of a shooting in that area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
