1 dead, 1 injured in Suitland Parkway overnight single-car crash

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - One person has died, police say, after a single-car crash in the District on Suitland Parkway Sunday night.

D.C. police say two men, one with critical injuries and one with serious injuries, were taken to the hospital following the crash. One of the victims later died, according to officials.

There has been no update on the second person's condition.

Police had closed westbound Suitland Parkway at Stanton Road SE for their investigation, but announced the parkway was reopened just after 4 a.m. Monday.
