Sunshine, mild temps in the 60s and 70s Thursday

A touch of frost may be on the pumpkin or your windshield early on this chilly Thursday morning.

Frost advisories were posted overnight for northern and western suburbs where temperatures dropped into the mid-30s.

Sunshine will be abundant as we warm up through the day, and that will lead to a comfortably mild afternoon with temperatures ranging from 65 to 70 degrees and light breezes.

The Washington Nationals return home to begin the home stand on Friday which looks to be another terrific day -- and more importantly a dry night for World Series game 3!

We will keep you updated on the chance for showers for games 4 and 5. Go Nats!
