Spotty showers possible Sunday as warm-up heads to DC region

Most of the rain has moved off to the east Sunday morning and sunshine will break out with temperatures headed into the upper 60s and low 70s.

The DC region can expect a few more showers possible Sunday afternoon but those will be isolated. The District will remain breezy Sunday afternoon and evening.

For the work week ahead, DC will end April and begin May with warmer temperatures.

There's a chance this week that some of our southern suburbs could reach the upper 80s to low 90s.
