According to MPD as of Friday, homicides in D.C. hit a staggering 216 so far this year - an 11% increase from 2020 (2020 saw a 19% increase from 2019). We will talk with the founder of NO MURDERS DC - its mission is to end murders in D.C. The group is working toward building a cross-government/citizen, permanent task force focused on reducing murders in D.C.
