Little League World Series begins for Loudoun South team

Virginia's Loudoun South Little League team threw a combined no-hitter to win their first game of the 2019 Baseball Little League World Series tournament Friday.

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Virginia's Loudoun South Little League team threw a combined no-hitter to win their first game of the 2019 Baseball Little League World Series tournament Friday.

Loudoun won a 3 - 0 shutout over the team from Barrington, Rhode Island. The game was played in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Loudoun's next game will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday against the winner Midwest vs. Great Lakes game.
