Obadiah Gamble is both a huge Minnesota Vikings fan and a natural musician. So when he was planning his upcoming birthday party, it made sense to invite his favorite player in song.

"He's super nice. Maybe he'd like to come for the first time to a birthday party, " Obadiah said.

The six-year-old created a nearly two minute long music video, asking Teddy Bridgewater to help him celebrate his birthday on Sunday.

The first grader, otherwise known as "Skolbadiah," even worked the team's fight song into the video.

But his parents say everything else from the music to the lyrics to the props are all Obadiah.

"Obadiah got the idea in January. After Christmas, as a six-year-old, you start thinking about your birthday party in May. So apparently inspiration struck in the bathroom. Came up with the song 'Hey Teddy'," Obadiah's dad, Jeremiah, told Fox 9.

Obadiah tweeted snippets of the song to Bridgewater last week. The Vikings quarterback not only re-tweeted them to his nearly 200,000 followers, he also stopped by the Gamble's home in St. Paul, Minn. Wednesday afternoon to give Obadiah a special early birthday surprise.

"We played some catch and talked about stuff. We came inside and had some cake and he brought out the cake," Obadiah said.

Bridgewater may not make it to Obadiah's party this weekend, but he already received the best birthday present of them all.

"I'll remember this my whole life," Obadiah said about his meeting with Bridgewater.

Bridgewater hung out with Obadiah for about an hour and a half and gave him a signed poster, baseball cap, football and towel.

Obadiah says Bridgewater even invited him to a practice to meet the other Vikings players.
