Taco Bell giving out free tacos Wednesday in honor of World Series stolen base

(FOX 11) - Thanks to a stolen base in the World Series, Taco Bell is giving away free Doritos Locos tacos on Wednesday.

The promotion is part of the fast-food chain's "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" promotion, triggered by Houston Astros outfielder Cameron Maybin who stole a base in the 11th inning of Game 2 on Oct. 25.

All you have to do is visit a participating location from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. to receive one free Doritos Locos taco while supplies last.

The promotion is limited to one per customer, and no purchase is necessary.
