WASHINGTON - Zach Terwilliger, the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, joins the On the Hill podcast to discuss the opioid crisis. For the first time in a decade, opioid-related deaths dropped in Virginia. Fatal drug overdose has been the leading method of unnatural death in Virginia since 2013. Terwilliger discusses what his office is doing to combat the opioid epidemic, which includes prosecutions of drug dealers, gangs, dirty doctors and fentanyl coming in from China.
