WASHINGTON - FOX 5's Melanie Alnwick goes back to where it all began: a rainy Memorial Day weekend 18 years ago. At that time, it was just a story about a missing woman from Bethesda, Maryland - a wealthy suburb of Washington D.C.

Alison Thresher's sister, children and ex-husband are desperately leading the search for her. Fast forward to April 2018 - and her now adult children are back in front of cameras and microphones asking for the public's help after the story takes a wild twist.
