You can now rent out Smithsonian venues - like the National Zoo - for your next event

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - You can now rent out some of Washington D.C.'s most elegant and grand venues for your next personal event.

The Smithsonian is making available several of its most recognizable locations for weddings, birthdays, corporate events and personal parties.

The list of more than a dozens available venues includes the Rotunda at the National Museum of Natural History, the Smithsonian Castle on the National Mall and even the entire National Zoo.

The Washington Post reports that prices at the many locations range from about $1000 for a conference room to about $150,000 for the entire zoo.
