Woodbridge woman killed when alleged drunk driver strikes parked tractor trailer, police say

An alleged drunk driver is behind bars after he struck a parked tractor trailer, killing a 26-year-old Woodbridge woman who was riding in his vehicle.

The tractor trailer driver was also cited because his vehicle was illegally parked with neither his parking lights or hazard lights on.

Prince William County police responded to the scene in the area of Dale Boulevard and Neabsco Mills Road around 2:56 a.m. Sunday morning.

Investigators say 27-year-old Antonio Gonzalez of Woodbridge was drunk behind the wheel when his Mini Cooper left the road and slammed into the tractor trailer.

A passenger in the Mini Cooper - Dyana Vasquez-Flores - was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gonzalez was charged with driving under the influence and jailed without bond.

The tractor trailer driver - 35-year-old Enrique Ramirez of Coconut Creek, Fla. - was cited for failing to utilize emergency equipment.

Additional charges are pending.
