Woman stabbed in Southeast DC; police search for suspect

Police are looking for a man they say stabbed a woman in Southeast D.C.

The stabbing happened Wednesday just after 10 a.m. in the 3000 block of 30th Street.

Officers say the woman was unconscious and not breathing when they arrived.

Investigators are looking for a black male in connection with the stabbing. They describe the suspect as being approximately 35-year-old. They say he has a light complexion, is bald and has a hairy chest. The suspect is also believed to be wearing black short and was last seen near the scene of the crime.
