Woman shot while driving in DC by gunman in moving vehicle, police say
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Police say a woman was shot while she was driving in the District early Monday morning by a man in a moving vehicle.
Officers say a woman driving northbound on 295 near Malcolm X Avenue reported that a suspect in a dark sedan fired shots at her just after midnight.
The woman was struck and drove herself to a nearby hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Investigators say they are looking for a black male with a light complexion driving a dark blue sedan.
