PASTY CLINE'S HISTORIC HOME: Walk where she walked, see where she lived, slept, and spent her early years while pursuing her music career! Enjoy a detailed tour of the place the country music star called home from 16 to 21. As she said in one of her songs, "come on in, sit right down, and make yourself at home."
THE MUSEUM OF THE SHENANDOAH VALLEY, HISTORIC HOME & GARDENS: Offering guests a deep dive into local history, along with unique exhibits for a glimpse into the local and national art scene! The historic home is host to a collection of artifacts. The Gardens are currently hosting Natures Connects: Art with Lego Bricks! Covered with multiple gorgeous Lego statues, it is a must see!!! The exhibit Leaves September 3rd so be sure to get there before then!
SHENANDOAH VALLEY DISCOVERY MUSEUM: Kids can enjoy hours and hours of hands on learning! Learn about bees and pollination, se pulley-systems to move apples and so much more!
GEORGE WASHINGTON'S OFFICE MUSEUM: The little log building was a military office from September 1755 to December 1756 while Fort Loudoun was being built! The display includes some of Washington's personal effects, surveying equipment, and a scale model of the town around that time. Outside the office is a statue of a pig, honoring the first piece of legislation George Washington passed which banned pigs from running loose in Winchester.
THE LOUDOUN STREET MALL & SPLASH PAD: Full of unique and delicious eateries, shops, and the always fun and fabulous splash pad which is a huge hit on a hot summer day!
