Whitetail Resort making snow for skiing and tubing

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Winter has been off to a slow start for our area, with temps well above normal for this time of the year. And without those cold temperatures, we've seen a lot more rain than snow. Not great if you love to ski!

Whitetail Resort in Mercersburg, Penn., has been left to make their own snow for the slopes and for tubing.

There may be snow from Mother Nature in the coming days, but until then, Whitetail will be making snow around the clock.

FOX 5's Gary McGrady went to check out the slopes and see how they make those fluffy white flakes.
