Where and when to cast your ballots on Election Day in DC, Maryland and Virginia
WASHINGTON - Election Day is here - so if you didn't vote early - today is the day to cast your ballot!
Polling places in Virginia opened at 6 a.m. Maryland and Washington, D.C. polling places opened at 7 a.m.
Long lines formed early at Virginia voting locations.FOX 5's Anjali Hemphill visited the Madison Activity Center in Arlington and Langley High School in McLean where hundreds poured in as the polls opened.
Lines were out the door at Janney Elementary School in northwest D.C. when polls opened at 7 a.m. At Paint Branch Elementary School, FOX 5's Bob Barnard saw long lines as well.
The weather is expected to be great for voting. Sunny skies and temperatures around 68 degrees are expected.

WASHINGTON, D.C.
- Polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Voters required to provide proof of residence (Can be a government issued ID, a copy of a current utility bill, a bank statement or paycheck)
- Same day registration allowed
- Ballot selfies ARE allowed

MARYLAND
- Polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Some first time voters in Maryland will be asked to show ID before voting.

VIRGINIA
- Polls open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Voters required to provide photo ID
- Absentee ballot must be received by 7 p.m. today
