Water main break repaired in Bowie neighborhood

BOWIE, Md. - An early-morning water main break in Bowie that created additional danger on already-icy roads Friday has been repaired.

The 24-inch break happened on Mitchellville Road near Excalibur Road and spilled gallons of water onto the frigid pavement. It was repaired just before 2 p.m., and service was restored to customers in the area.
