FOX 5's Mike Thomas says a cold front to the west brings the chance for storms as it moves our way and becomes more unstable. The possibility for thunderstorms could come any time after 1 p.m. but the best chance for them in the D.C. area, Mike says, is later this evening around 9 p.m. or 10 p.m.

Highs will reach the mid-80s Frida, Mike says. Saturday should start dry with showers moving in later in the evening and lasting through the night. Sunday morning starts off with rain and clears out later in the afternoon. Monday and Tuesday begin with sunshine.
