Violent night in Southeast DC leaves 2 dead
WASHINGTON - Authorities say two men were killed after a night of violence in Southeast D.C.
The first shooting was reported around 7:49 p.m. Tuesday in the 4300 block of 7th Street. Police found two men with gunshot wounds on the scene when they arrived. One of the men was pronounced dead and the other was hospitalized.
Just before midnight, police say another shooting in the Southeast left a second man dead. Officers say the shooting was reported in the 4300 block of Wheeler Road. The victim, police say, died on the scene.
Around 2 a.m., police responded to the 2600 block of Sheridan Road where a man was found shot. The victim was conscious and breathing when they arrived.
No arrests have been made in any of the shooting.
