Violent afternoon in DC as 7 people, including 4 juveniles, shot in 3 separate shootings

Police say four juveniles and three adults were shot during three separate shootings that occurred within a half hour of each other in D.C. Wednesday afternoon.

Two male juveniles suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being shot at Minnesota Avenue and Grant Street in Northeast D.C. at around 4:09 p.m. Police are on the lookout for two teenagers - one of them was wearing a light blue jacket and the other was wearing a red jacket while armed with a gun. They were last seen in a white Volkswagen vehicle with tinted windows and unknown Maryland tags.

Two male juveniles were shot at around 4:34 p.m. in the 5300 block of Bass Place in Southeast D.C. The victims in this shooting also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were conscious and breathing when police arrived.

A third shooting also happened at the same time at 4:34 p.m. in the 600 block of Mellon Street in Southeast D.C. Two men and one woman were wounded with non-life-threatening injuries.

All of the victims in these shootings were transported to the hospital.
