VIDEO: 3 suspects rob District Heights pharmacy at gunpoint

Prince George's County police are asking for your help tracking down three people who robbed a small pharmacy in District heights. The robbery was caught on camera.

Police are describing this attack as brazen and warning that these suspects are armed and dangerous.

They also believe they could be responsible for a string of pharmacy robberies in D.C.

In the surveillance video, the three suspects stormed the pharmacy by leaping over the counter and getting away with medications and cash.

"We definitely need the public's assistance with this because the suspects appear to be extremely dangerous and we just don't want anybody to be injured or harmed," said Lt. Jariel Jordan of the Prince George's County Police Department.

"They actually put a gun to the head of the clerk and asked the pharmacist to show them [to the safe] or they would shoot him," said Parnab De, the pharmacy's manager. "That was very terrifying for both of them."

He said the employees are still in shock from this incident that happened on January 10. In the video, you can see one of the victims cowering in fear.

He said the clerk will not go behind the counter now and she prefers to stay near the door since it happened.

"We are definitely scared, especially the nighttime," said De. "And in the weekends, we keep our doors locked."

De said that the suspects leading over the counter surprised him because they specifically built the counter higher to prevent people from trying to climb over.

"Two of them did not even take any kind of support to leap it," De said.

The pharmacy manager is also hopeful someone will recognize these suspects who terrorized his co-workers. They are trying to carry on business as usual, but it has been tough.

"You never really get over these things," he said. "It's terrible."
