US Park Police investigate report of assault in Rock Creek Park

WASHINGTON - Authorities are investigating a report of an assault in Rock Creek Park.

United States Park Police officers say they responded to the park at around 9:18 a.m. on Friday where they found two victims. One was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing at this time.
