Teen shot outside Metro station in Temple Hills area

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Police say a 16-year-old was shot Wednesday night outside of a Metro station in Prince George's County.

The shooting was reported around 11:45 p.m.outside the Southern Avenue Metro station in the Temple Hills area.

Officers say a 16-year-old boy was shot in the thigh and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released any information about the suspect in the shooting.

The investigation is coninuing at this time.
