Teen rescued from mud in Upper Marlboro
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - A teenage boy was rescued Saturday after becoming stuck in waist-deep mud in Upper Marlboro, Md.
The boy became stuck after entering the water to observe a turtle.
Rescue crews arrived and tossed a rope down to the boy, which he secured to his body.
The teen then extracted himself after a ground ladder was put into the water. He sustained no injuries during the incident.
