Suspected case of measles in Fairfax County resident investigated

FAIRFAX CO., Va. - A suspected case of measles in a Fairfax County resident is being investigated by the county's health department.

In a release posted online, the Fairfax County Health Department said test results will not be known for approximately 24 hours.

Officials say they are currently identifying potential exposure sites and that the individual is in self-isolation at home.

Officials say that if the case is positive, a news conference will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
