Students across DMV head back-to-school

Many school districts across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia are heading back to class Monday.

In Maryland - Baltimore City, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Garrett, Howard, Montgomery, Queen Anne's, Somerset, and Wicomico County schools all begin.

Many school districts in Virginia are back in session including Prince William County, Loudoun County and Manassas City.

In Montgomery County, officials have added more buses to accommodate an increase in the student population. Bob Barnard spoke with Todd Watkins, Montgomery County School transportation director, who said that more school buses have been equipped with traffic enforcement cameras. Soon, Watkins says, all of the County's buses will have cameras that will be used to ticket drivers who pass while the vehicles are stopped. The fine for passing illegally is $125.
