Storms, small hail possible for Father's Day

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - DC's mild June will come to a screeching halt Sunday afternoon, when severe storms and possibly hail are set to hit the DMV.

Father's Day barbecues should wrap up before 2 p.m., when the storms are forecasted to start. Strong winds of up to 60 miles per hour are possible, and the storms are forecasted to last into Sunday evening.

Temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 80s. The severe weather pattern is forecasted to last through the week.
