Stafford woman charged with setting fire that killed husband
STAFFORD, Va. - A Virginia woman was arrested for intentionally setting a fire at her home that killed her husband.
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office says 52-year-old Lisa Schulken Bartosch is charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and arson.
After a month-long investigation, authorities determined Bartosch started a fire at their home on Devonshire Lane on May 1. Her husband, 51-year-old Scott Michael Bartosch, was injured in the fire and would later die from his injuries on Monday.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
Lisa Bartosch was arrested last Friday and is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
