Six Flags America holding 30-Hour Coffin Challenge

Six Flags America is holding a challenge that is not for the faint of heart.

The 30-Hour Coffin Challenge is underway at the theme park as six participants from Maryland have been selected to attempt to lie in a wooden coffin for 30 hours this weekend.

However, these coffin dwellers will get a six-minute bathroom break each hour. They will also receive meals in their coffins along with limited cellphone usage.

Those who finish the 30-hour challenge will receive two Gold Season passes at Six Flags America for 2019, two VIP Haunted House passes, two seats on the Fright Fest Freak Train and $300. Oh yeah, they also get to keep their coffin too!

The participants were "laid to rest" starting at 5 p.m. Friday and there will be a "raising of the dead ceremony" at the culmination of the challenge at 11 p.m. Saturday.
