Sinkhole swallows part of car wash in Athens

ATHENS, Ga. - A popular car wash in Athens has a huge problem.

SKYFOX 5 flew over a sinkhole which swallowed up an ice machine and part of a structural support. It happened at the Baxter Car Wash on Baxter Street.

Officials said a 15-foot hole opened up there on Wednesday.

Cleanup crews have been busy shoring up the structure and trying to figure out how to repair the hole.

No one was injured.
