Severe storms cause power outages, flooding in areas of MD, VA
SILVER SPRING, Md. - Severe storms blew across the region Tuesday night bringing whipping winds and driving rain.
Some trees and tree limbs fell to the ground and the heavy downpours caused flash flooding on several roads in the region.
Residents in Maryland and Virginia were hit particularly hard with some neighborhoods losing power.
