Severe storm downs power lines, trees in Prince George's County
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Severe storms tore through parts of Prince George's County on Friday, downing trees and power lines.
Power was out for an extended period on Silver Hill Road in Hillcrest Heights, among other neighborhoods in the Suitland area.
Residents say the storm was swift and strong.
Utility workers were in the area surveying the damage late into the evening.
As of 10:30 p.m., there was no word on when the power would be restored.
