Several school children injured after terrifying crash sends vehicle onto sidewalk

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Authorities in Kansas have released video of a terrifying crash that left several school children injured.

Police say the crash happened last Thursday in the Overland Park area. Video of the incident shows a red vehicle turning through an intersection where it was struck by an oncoming SUV.

The collision sent the SUV onto the sidewalk where police say it struck several school children. Police say four children were hurt. The most seriously injured child was upgraded to stable condition last week.

The investigation into the crash is still underway.
