School bus, vehicle collide in Potomac, police say

POTOMAC, Md. - A school bus was involved in a crash with a car in Montgomery County Monday afternoon, police say.

The accident happened at around 4 p.m. at Falls Road and Stanmore Drive in Potomac.

Fire officials say the driver of the car was transported to the hospital after being extricated from their vehicle. A driver and two passengers were on the school bus, but were not injured in the crash.

Falls Road was temporarily shut down in both directions, but has since reopened to traffic.
